Zakk's Ray Gun pinch harmonics

Post by Cpt Matt Sparrow »

I enjoy this side of Zakk's playing (admitedly not in Ozzy's catalogue so much)

This young lady has really captured this down to a tee

I like this side of Zakk's playing too. So simple (as in not a lot going on), but yet catchy and groovy.

My favorite side of Zakk is probably this though.

His Crazy Tain and Bark at the Moon playing are just great...

I'm not too keen on that (ZW's) heavy use of pinch harmonics,
but the fills and style are pretty efficient ! Wow.

Pinch harmonics are cool to have as part of your repetiour, but there is such a thing as over-doing it.

It gets old after awhile.

I agree 110%. Not cutting down Zakk ( he's a phenominal player) but, my type of tasteful harmonics are the ones Mr. Rhoads did. Now those just kicked ass!!
