All his really good stuff, is on the old albums. Shame production is crap on most of the songs though. Ruins it, really. That's why I prefer the live stuff.

Anyway, from each album, I'd recommend you to listen to:
  • Spoke in the Wheel, Hey You, Born to Lose, The Beginning... at last (Sonic Brew)

Counterfeit God, All For You, Rust, Stronger Than Death, 13 Years of Grief (Stronger Than Death)

Heart of Gold, Snowblind, No More Tears (Alcohol Fueled Brewtality)

Demise of Sanity, Graveyard Disciples, Genocide Junkies, Mass Murder Machine, America the Beautiful (1919 Eternal)

Suffering Overdue, The Blessed Hellride, Dead Meadow (The Blessed Hellride)

Steppin' Stone, Won't Find it Here, Layne (Hangover Music Vol. VI)

I Never Dreamed, Fire It Up, Been a Long Time (Mafia)

The Last Goodbye, Devil's Dime, Faith is Blind (Shot to Hell)
Zakk's solo stuff is worth checking out too:
  • Machine Gun Man, Losin' Your Mind, Lovin' Woman, Fadin' Away, Torn & Tattered (Pride & Glory)

Way Beyond Empty, Throwin' It All Away, Dead As Yesterday, 1.000.000 Miles Away, I Thank you Child (Book of Shadows)
;)

If I were to narrow it down even more, I'd say stick to the songs from 1919 Eternal, Sonic Brew, Stronger than Death and Book of Shadows. Or maybe even just the whole Alcohol Fueled Brewtality album, which is live, plus Book of Shadows. Born to Booze (Lose) is a gem.

Happy hunting!

I saw BLS with Ozzy last week, I have to say I enjoyed them :D
Cologne she'll wear silver and americard, She'll drive a beetle car and beat you down at cool Canasta. And when the clothes are strewn don't be afraid of the room touch the fullness of her breast feel the love of her caress she will be your living end.

blessed hellride and shot to hell are his best albums IMO also the've got a good spread of metal and ballads so if you were gonna buy an album id start with them cos you get to hear a bit of everything zakk does.
hangover music is all acoustic stuff
stronger than death is very heavy
mafia seems to have a bit more of a classic/hard rock sound

and... well actualy thats all the bls albums ive got.
if your just looking for a couple of tracks try blacked out world and new religion off shot to hell

I am a bigger fan of the early BLS material. Some great hard rock/metal.
SB - Mother Mary, SITW, World of Trouble, Low Down
STD - Counterfeit God, STD, 13 years of Grief, STrzr
1919 - Bleed for Me, Demise, Graveyard Dis, Genocide Junkies

I will agree with Cableguy, "Destruction Overdrive" off TBH is one of the best.

Also you need to check out his solo work, "Book of Shadows". It may actually be the best he has done. Between H&H, Sold my soul, Road back home, Way beyond empty, Throwin it all away.
