Hello David
Thank you! and please feel free to add me on myspace and/or facebook. I use both regularly and update on gigs and recordings etc.
On my files I have about 5 versions of every one of the Bach pieces that I have been recording and re-recording since I came back from the US in October 2008! It has been 18 painful months of trying not to get obsessed with BWV 997. I am playing the audio on as many different systems as possible to just give it the once over. I have noticed that my ears like the timbre of music to be dull. I don't mean dull in a negative way, but I hate the brittle-ness in what is often is described as bright sound. I like it to sound low/mid like
on the eq and to sound dark and sonorous. That is what I want in an ideal world but what I get rarely matches that.

I tend to use facebook more
No problem, I just hope to be half as good as some of the board members here
Yeah, I noticed how some moments in the song sounded a bit dark which suits the piece but do you tend to do that for all your pieces or just the classical ones? I imagine it would be harder if your trying to edit the pieces yourself if your not satisfied with the tone. I'm rather to eager to hear some more classical pieces though ^^
