I have been working on a song for a bit and I wanted to capture Randy's fun and free-flow approach to playing like in his QR days. This is a dedication to that style and one of many hats off I've given to Randy through the years. This is a rough mix and it's not quite finished. Just wanted some feedback. All tracks are me, 2 rythym guitars, bass and I programed Addictive Drums for the percs. The lead is a single take out of four takes that I'm going through at the moment. Enjoy.

Hi Mike

Have had some audio problems but will try again when I get in...
I thought at first it said it was dedicated to Randy's Off The Wall Americans. I thought "well there are plenty of them on the forums" LMAO

Oh Matthew I couldn't forget your side of the pond. I just couldn't think of what to call the type of playing I was after. LOL I hope I achieved what I was after.

Hi Mike

You know who will love this Mike?, our mutual mate Donster!
Like his song Rhoads of Life it seems to really lift its hat to Randy Rhoads without compromising being Mike Lowery.

That is my first thoughts on it...and that tone LOL woah! NICE!!
You are using a lot of legatto in it right? Have you been polishing that up?

Thank you Matt. Yes, I polished up on my legatto for this because it is such a staple in Randy's playing and I am more of an alternate picker for the most part. It was really fun seeing how bad my legatto had gotten too! LOL I was thinking of Donster just yesterday. I'll have to give him a note and see how things are.
