Hi Johnny
The layering of sounds was my favourite things about it! I liked the way the organ seethed underneath in places too. It had lots of 1968 in it, my favourite year!
A great mix of mellow ambience, and and in places Hendrix jazz/blues.
The the rock Guitar entering was complete rock bravado.
My favourite Johnny Slave track. You did a great job on mixing.

Again very interesting and a breathe of fresh air.
This piece though doesn't sound complete like the previous piece of music though.
The sound balance of each part is very precise and the bass line has a good groove.

Hi Johnny
I have just been listening to Jimi Hendrix and it seems more like a clean Hendrix than a traditional type jazz lead over the harmonies. I personally am addicted to that roll the tones back rhythm humbucker jazz tone, so that is a personal preference, the lead playing was tasteful though and nicely chosen notes!
There is no right or wrong in this but my ideal solo (that I don't think I am articulate enough in jazz to pull off yet) over this would have chromatic slip notes ala Joe Pass and arpeggio use like Django.
Johnny, it is just a suggestion for here at UR, or some where ...LOL... (just thinking out aloud) but I think you could sell these type of tracks (minus the lead obviously) as good quality backing tracks.
As a teacher I rely mainly on Guitar techniques for my teaching tracks. I would pay for down loadble decent tracks to imprvoise over!

ps I am a bad critic as when I hear music, see a picture, read a book to me it is as it is. The moment amendments are made it becomes a different piece.
