Half-serious Black Metal Warm-up Take #2

Post by LordThurisaz »

This was taken from a group of 6 or 7 takes each about 2-4 minutes long, and I just took the 1 minute section from the second take which made this little ditty.

For those that don't listen to black metal, you'll probably hate it, so try not to tack my balls to the wall and tell me I'm a shitty guitar player. Also, I wasn't even warmed up, so yes, IT IS SLOPPY (though it's still less sloppy than 90% of black metal), and all it is, is just a guitar. Lastly, each take had a different tone, which meant I was a noob with the gear I was using, and still experimenting with the guitar tones. Could've used more mids, I think; my tremelo picking would've stood out more.

So, enjoy, and hopefully the musical/creative portions of your brain don't diminish from being exposed to such nonsense.

Good to meet another black metal fan in the Randy world aswell.
Glad to hear you liked it. I think mixing Randy Rhoads and smart Black Metal could be a great combination.
