Need help making music

Post by therhoadlesstraveled »

Ok, so I've been playing guitar just short of a year now, and I've accumulated a considerable amount of skill and musical theory in the process and I'm wanting to try to make my own backing tracks that I can create and burn to a cd and try out some song ideas i have in my head. Unfortunately, i have no idea where to go or look. Does anyone have some ideas?

Look into purchasing a guitarport. For software, adobe audition, cubase, sony acid pro, etc would be good. also EzDrummer for the drumming parts!

putting together a home studio is a lot of work
i was going to get one (and only a small one at that)... it didn't take me long to get too confused :(
i think ill just stick to playing music and leave recording to the experts
