Ozzy Needs To Release Official Live Jake Album

I was thinking about it. There is a live album with EVERY Ozzy recording guitar player with the exception of Jake E. Lee

Tony Iommi - Past Lives, Reunion
Randy Rhoads - Tribute, Ozzy Live
Brad Gillis - Speak Of The Devil
Zakk Wylde - Live at Budokan, Live & Loud, Just Say Ozzy
Gus G. - Live at Itunes Festival

An official release from the Ultimate Sin era would be remarkable. Even if it was just the audio of THE ULTIMATE OZZY. This era of Ozzy's career is a lot of fans favorte. Also, it would hav a lot of obscure tracks like KILLER OF GIANTS, THANK GOD FOR THE BOMB and so on. Even if you did a BARK era show it would have ROCK N' ROLL REBEL, JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF ETERNITY plus more...

They released a few songs on the PRINCE OF DARKNESS Box Set. They sound great. That full show would be amazing.

Wonder how much interest could be sparked for this?

Come to think of it.... He could release a BARK AT THE MOON TOUR show and STILL magange to stick it to Bob Daisley. Due to his buyout of the songwritting credits on that album Ozz could get out of sharing the songwritting royalties.

There is/was a release from '84. It was recorded at the Salt Palace in SLC Utah. You can still find copies of it out on popular torrent sites. It is a rocking concert and of course is a pro recorded show.

Here is a link to BatM.

Of course there was a some what official release of a show recorded for Pay Per View of a Kansas City MO show on 4-1-1986. That is a rocking show too.

I would say that there is no official live albums (audio cd only) release for BotM or Ultimate Sin. And they are never going to happen, probably because of the bad history with certain bass players and guitar players.

I'd like to see them do a "Jake" box set that included the original recordings (not remasters) of "BATM" and "TUS" plus all the b-sides like "One Up" etc, and dvd's of live performances from 83' Dortmund, The US Festival, Salt Lake City, 84' Donington, plus The Ultimate Ozzy, all of those in their entirety. Don't know if anyone else would, but I'd pay 200.00 bucks for that!!! They could even throw in Jake's audition tapes to sweeten it up.

Yeah I know, Never Happen..................

ask yourself, would that be financially viable?
