What... That's an neat picture.. wait a second... That's an amazing drawing!!! I love that picture shows it in a schetch book on a table. At first i thought it was a picture with an effect on it but then I noticed what it was!!! Great job.
***20yr Cndn Boxer ...Randy Rhoads = when I 1st heard him playing on the radio it was too amazing... (within a month I got my own 1st guitar - a Jackson!!!)

Yeah Trig thats a nice effort i see you work from the grid method.Which is an excellent way to learn, i'm useless at faces! i love drawing detail etc but i just cannot make the faces look like them.I noticed that its the same pic on the Ultimate Rhoads banner top left corner.I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this...

You were right GI it's the same picture from the site (top left hand corner)I didn't realise it was that shot until I finished it. You will notice I changed it a little though! If you look around the mouth you can see 2 shadows that come from the mouth, I thought they looked odd so I missed them out. In a drawing they would look strange but in a photograph they are OK!
I did use a grid on this picture to keep to scale if not his face would begin to pull around a bit :? .

Oh its in the progress, put it this way im getting the person seeing the painting to have feelings for randy but randy is not on the picture.. :P
