It's there, it's just almost rubbed off and very hard to see/read.

The year is a 1985.

It's more like indentations, i mean the serial number, like you can feel it when you rub it. but it's the same color as the headstock so it's hard to see.

I am the second owner of the guitar, I was told by the original owner that there was a small cosmetic blemish to the headstock, and that only the headstock was re-touched up.

I have gear aquisition syndrome, haha! I didn't want to go through all the hassle of Ebay, and thought I'd let the real fans of Randys have first shot at it. Craigslist is just full of people trying to get something for nothing. So this seemed like a good place to list it. I paid $2,000 for it myself, so I guess it is priced kinda low, but I'm pricing it to sell and not just sit in my room, it should go to someone who's going to play it more often than I do. I researched the going prices on Ebay, and it seems that similar guitars as this go for usually $1,500 - $2,500 I guess it just depends on how bad someone is wanting one at the moment.

I just lowered my price on the Gibson Les Paul Custom from $1,150 to only $1,100 shipping to anywhere in the US is free.

Hopefully this will generate more interest in the guitar as I would like to have it shipped out to a buyer before the holiday weekend.
