Ultimate Rhoads

Finally got notified via email after weeks/months of waiting that the thing was in stock at Sweetwater. I barely looked at the pics of the actual guitar I was getting/serial number...I remember the weight being 7lbs 8oz which is pretty good for a Ibby.

Anyway..I wish i would have saved the pics to post them but i can't see them now after placing the order.. Should be delivered Friday which is my birthday

yep $1199...I ended up doing the 3 pay plan since i am planning on making a couple other large purchases in the next two weeks not related to guitars...so its $400 for 3 months with the 3 pay.

Anyway..order confirmed and delivery Friday..The sweetwater tech emailed me the pics of the serial number i got as well

Cool Axe, I could never play one with the pickup in the middle, my pick always grinded on them..

Yeah, I am the same. I mean, I really think I would like a 3rd pick up. But they just get in the way.

I ALWAYS thought the same thing about the middle pickup until i got my last ibanez...One thing i learned though is that if you are hitting that middle pickup then you are digging to much in the string already, at least when soloing or picking fast lines...You really want to barely have the tip of the pick glide across the strings. If anything it has made my technique much better.

Its been about a year though since i had to get rid of that last RG3550MZ ..I already like this much better =, didnt think that was going to be possible.

Really nice guitar...I have picked up my LP maybe twice since getting the Ibby. I thinking of a picking another one up in white towards the end of the year i like it so much.

The orange is a great color though!
