Amp Acting Strange

Post by BowTie29 »

Today when I was done playing, I switched off standby and waited a bit and then switched the power off so the light was not lit and both switches were off and once i hit the power OFF, it started to amplify my guitar again for about 5 seconds and then went dead again like it should have been. Anyone else experience this before? Should I be concerned?

that is a bit strange...it is normal when switching standby off but I don't think it usually happens when doing the power, could be a power tube going. I would check the glow of the tubes when its on...look for brighter ones or duller. Other wise I would be to concerned until something else happens
