Preamp hookup questions

I just bought a Hafler t3 preamp and want to use it with my Marshall JVM205H head.
One problem...I have no idea how to hook it up! I'm such a meat and potato's guy that effects loops, send/return paths just confuse me to death.
Can anyone explain it to me in a way a guy with a 6th grade mind can understand

How manny effects DO you have in a loop
Your guitar goes into the first effect you have and the last effect you have goes into the amp

I don't use the effects loop. I just need to bypass the preamp in the marshall head and use the head as a power amp.

Ok, I got it figured out, without blowing anything up!

Sorry my setup is so hard to figure out
With one push of a switch and my door opens lol
But I did not want to unplug anything cause I might not figure out how to put it back together
My main rig is the g system hooked up to a David bray plexi
Next to the David bray is a marshal plexi
I love plexis so much
Sorry I could not help you

with an FX loop, you only need to plug your guitar into your amp and the loop will do the rest
