Haha I see whatya mean :) but it was done by a friend, or rather a friend's husband :)

And yeah, trying to learn, not easy when theres barely any bass tutors in my area, only two I know of, one charging £18 for half an hour and one 35 miles away (who I see) for £7 for half an hour £10 for an hour.

I already know that, but nothing beats getting the lessons in person, you get to see how you're going wrong and ask questions, and also the person will ensure your fingers are correctly placed, as a lot of tutorial videos out there are just covers slowed down. I will be recording possibly tomorrow a video of my bass playing.

now I've seen the clip, and to be honest(and consider this as some sort of constructive criticism) you really
need to strengthen your fingers...or use your pick ;)

work on your timing, play along to songs etc etc...
and when you've done all the above, record again and show us :)
