Ineresting relic idea

On Stew Mac's Facebook page I came across a cool way to relic a guitar's finish... put it in a tanning bed!
These Les Pauls were being relic'd by Dave Johnson, a fine repairman/builder located near Olympia and known for his finish work and fantastic LP restorations. The tanning beds make the finish fade perfectly for vintage finish repairs, relic jobs on new guitars, and touch-ups.
