Is he routing the control caverties after painting (which while it isn't unheard of is quite unusual. I actually like the idea of having unfinished wood in areas like that so the wood can breath and age kinda naturally) or is it just the holes for the pots/switch left to drill??

U know I'm not really sure I think cativties were routed out awhile ago?
