I just read a post that exits98 guitars are the same as mine or i am buying from him or he is buying from me. Just to set the record straight i do not know him nor does he buy from me. You must understand that the templete for the polkadots is readily available and can be bought a guy had them at the nam show. there is also another guy selling his very cheap now from southern state. My guitar nor his are the same. I have sold several guitars to people in his erea over the past 2 years. without pointing fingers i believe my guitar was copied and made cheaper from china. Not a hard thing to do. It comes down to quality and what you want to spend. If you want a cheap guitar made out of plywood or pressed wood then buy the $300 polkadot. But it wont last or ever stay in tune long and it does not matter what you do to it. the wood is cheap and expands and retracts to easily with the weather. Evenually i figure it will dry out and crack somewhere. Common sense should tell you that a guitar for $300 cost the seller half of that or less. He has to recoup costs. So that is a $150 guitar or less so what do you think your getting? Hell a bridge cost $40. then add tuners and all other parts. the basics guitar with no hardware most likely was built for $50 to $60. I try to sell mine as cheap as possible to keep sales going but i am soon getting fed up with a few charging back before delivery because they don't have patience. my money is then held until delivery. Not a nice thing to do to someone especially since i have never cheated anyone and my feedback reflects that. But i don't like being compared to this cheap guitar either. So soon i may just scratch the whole polkadot thing and not sell anymore. I don't make a whole lot of profit to have to deal with this kinda stuff.
