I love the upper fret access on V type guitars; I bet this baby is really going to sound good!

Sweet axe, congratulations!!

Mine was the first time playing a V guitar, and I was concerned that playing sitting down would be an issue, since that's how I practice most of the time. I was very pleasantly surprised by just how comfortable these are sitting down!

Hi Ric

They are aren't they?!

Far from being a poser guitar, V's are very logical because of the comfortable upper fret access and side ways weighting.

Absolutely! I'm totally hooked on Vs now. the upper fret access is insane, and I actually find it more comfortable than my LP sitting down. I can't seem to decide whether to set the LP on my right leg or left, either way feels a little off. But resting the inner part of the V on my right leg (with a strap for support) puts it in the most perfect position, with a slight upward angle - much like holding a classical guitar.

Hi Ric! I agree with your thoughts on the playing position for the V - I do the exact same thing! I have a Epiphone Les Paul Custom -Alpine White coming too this week, I imagine I'll have the same issues as you!

My Randy guitar collection is growing! I'll post some pics! 8)
