White Les Paul Custom

Post by ptate »

A couple of months ago, I decided that I'd buy a white Gibson LP custom just like RR's and got looking on the internet. It seemed like I needed one as I already had a standard and two deluxes; plus I just had to buy an RR copy.
Finally plumped for a 2004 model, bought it, then found out it was used by Dave Bishop on the Wholelottametal tour with ex-sabbath singer Tony Martin. Cool eh?
Whilst it isn't exactly tied into the RR/Ozzy/Sabbath lineage, it kinda goes there some of the way:

Wholelottametal-Sabbath-Ozzy-RR.........Ish........haha

RR rules, but I just wish my fingers would do what his could on the guitar.

I'm planning on taking some. Its a great guitar and was the 28th made in the custom shop during 2004 (first year of LP Custom production at the CS plant).

Here is the little beauty being used on the tour (the white custom stage left):

I'm presently learning RR's back catalogue at present and plan to form a tribute band shortly so I can start to use her as she's supposed to be.

Pics will be posted soon.
