Re: Have photos of the St.Louis DOAM show ever appeared?

Gentleman, I'm from St. Louis too. I've seen the Kshe book; cool shot of Randy and one of Ozzy. The photographer's name is Paul Brewer. We should try and locate him. I was going to try to locate him through the publisher of the book and see what else he has!

Re: New Guitar World Randy Cover

Dude, that pic IS biblical. Randy, shredding in the rays of the sun. His guitar looks like the staff of God or something. Awe-inspiring!

Re: to watch on youtube or not to watch...

I bought it and am 110% satisfied, realizing the magnitude of what it's meant to my life...being a fan and collector for 24 of my 36 years of existence. If you are able to buy it in the next month, I say hold off and wait to watch it in the privacy of your own home on a large screen tv! I'm telling ...

Didn't Ozzy say in a recent soundbite that the plane stalled while they were up taking pics?

Re: What is better,Texas soundcheck or new boxset footage?

People love Randy. Thats why everyone is adamant in how they feel. Just because im let down by the footage doesn't mean I feel divided from any of you! I love all you guys. Its ok to have different opinions. Its what makes us all unique. I respect how all of you guys feel when it comes to anything ...

Re: What is better,Texas soundcheck or new boxset footage?

Really, the only people ive seen complaining are the people who didnt pay for it which gives them less reason to bitch. How can you complain about hype if you didnt pay for it.Perspective, helloooooo? I wouldnt pay money to see it cause its not a major deal to me either way.Ive seen it now and it is w...

Someone posted it on TK before I could, but it totally has a Bloodbath in Paradise vibe at first. Zakk probably shit his motorcycle chaps the first time he heard it.

Re: Help me get this straight once and for all, please...

Thanks for the pic, RRP. While some may not agree, I always felt Kirk was a continuation of Randy into the 80's. Kirk played a lot of really emotional, in-depth solos back in the day. I'm talking Ride the Lightning/Master of Puppets era... He threw a lot of bluesy phrases in with the wierd minor mod...

Re: Hate To Ask This

Speaking of the Chelmsford gig, btw, I nearly sprayed my keyboard and monitor with iced tea when I heard Ozzy introduce Randy for Suicide! I know!! I found this boot on cassette at Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis back in '94....damn the memories. I was 19, it was a hot, humid St. Louis summer, I was hea...

Re: Hate To Ask This

No way in heck would I be the one to either. Btw, I've had the box set 2 days now and haven't watched the film yet!! Waiting for my cousin to come over and watch it with me. He got me into Randy back in '87 when I first picked up a guitar. Only fitting we watch it together as he can't afford it righ...

Re: Hate To Ask This

Big difference to something that was just released B-I-N-G-O....and Bingo was his name-o I can't believe the lack of common sense comparing "out of print" items from 30 years ago to a brand new release. If I discovered a hidden concert and/or paid $150 for a never-before seen bootleg vide...
