Thank you, Paul! All received, and I guess I'm no longer "No One You Know" on these boards.

Re: Randy Rhoads rare footage live Detroit 1982

I don't lose any sleep over this stuff because I don't feel entitled to any of it and I am a pessimistic New Englander. I'm here for the music, but yes - footage would be a total bonus as a lot of us were little kids when Randy passed (I was 13) and never got to see him play live at a show. If I cou...

Trying to PM you regarding Mr. Crowley, DOAM Pre-Release Montage, & PA Guitar Clinic MP3's but my replies to your PM's get stuck in my outbox and never get sent. Is this common? Anyhow, would be thrilled to get these recordings in electronic format. Feel free to email me at trout_david@yahoo.com...

Re: Randy-related magazines

You know, I kind of feel like the small population of us on here are in what amounts to a religious cult. There are very few of us left that love and "get" what Randy was all about; that understand his genius and what he was becoming. Alas, the world only judges based on what was and not w...

Re: Do you think more Randy Rhoads footage exists?

That's unfortunate. We do have recorded music and a lot of bootlegs, which is great - it IS all about the music. The After Hours footage is good, and the Albuquerque footage is so-so (not much of Randy in it). It would've been great to have seen the Capitol Theater (NJ) footage or other full length ...

I Know This Isn't the Free Audio Section, but...

I'm looking for the following in an mp3 type format:

1. Mr. Crowley Live EP
2. Diary of a Madman pre-release montage
3. Pennsylvania Guitar Clinic

Thanks to Ace who shared a bunch of great stuff with me thus far, but totally appreciative if someone can dig these up and do the same. :fish:

Re: RIP EVH

Man, could he play! He was a true innovator whom I greatly respected. The tone he perfected, and pure joy that came through his playing stood out to me. I actually grew to like him more when his solos got a bit more structured and melodic...Fair Warning remains my favorite. But I still LOVE Randy Rh...

A smile to my face here on UR. 2 of my favorite people posting and joking. Hi to both of you...

And to Ian, what can I do to help get the live shows connected again?

Re: Can we please fix the links to on The Free Audio Section

Ian - I appreciate all of what you have done and meant to this site. Years ago I found Randy Perry's site and that started the journey for me. He shared a ton of what he knew and I did a little research to give him the proper date of the rescheduled Montreal Show at the St. Denis Theater (he was kin...

Can we please fix the links to on The Free Audio Section?

Greetings... I think the few (?!) of us left here (maybe many more that lurk in anonymity) visit once in a while because we love the music that Randy Rhoads helped create. It is timeless, and part of his legend and magic was the wonderful poetic license he took in playing it live - never the same ve...

Re: Musonia was broken into and robbed...

You know, I'm just a fan here. Not related to anyone famous, not in anyone's inner circles. The closest I conversations I have had with anyone associated with Randy was a nice PM between myself and Frank, Randy's friend. And some professional networking with Randy's half-brother years ago (but nothi...
