I have little doubt that rrfish will provide a reasonable explanation for this misunderstanding.

Re: Rare Suicide Solution
The switch at 1:23 sounds like its to something similar to what became the rhythm section to the No Bone Movies solo, to me. Kind of cool to hear bits and pieces of songs like that, in infancy- Jason Becker's outtake stuff he's released over the years is much the same way.

Re: Which is your favorite song by RR?
Hands down, "Diary of a Madman"...it took so much further and built upon what he did for "Revelation Mother Earth". The song is a mini-opus and takes the listener on such a ride...you can feel the depression, hopelessness, and sadness in the opening chords and then throughout th...
Re: Gear!

He might have sqitched in 1981 or 82 but he was sponsered by picato in 1980 along with bob daisley someone with more comprehensive knowledge can probably source this, but i'm sure i read somewhere that they used picat...

Re: Powerful Rock Solos
here's something a little absurd, but entertaining nonetheless! cacophony! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vS5R9vY-3JI&feature=related this band had Marty Friedman and Jason Becker in it and did two albums with shrapnel around 88-89.... Jason was only 16 or 17 years old when they recorded this so...

Re: BOO & DOAM in 2011
I too feel that they OWE us whatever they have of Randy. If Mrs. Rhoads or the rest of the family is strongly against something being released then I am much more sympathetic to that. However, let's be real, it is people like US that have purchased albums and concert tickets that kept Ozzy a wealth...

Re: RR Custom Gibson Reproduction Release
with gibsons i feel like you are typically paying around a grand markup for the logo to read 'gibson.' its worse with the signature models, because now you have to pay the 'gibson' markup, the 'custom shop' markup, and the 'zakk wylde' markup. most production gibsons aren't appreciably 'better' (the...

Re: mr. crowley and crazy train
i did full covers of both songs using the guitar hero ripped backing tracks. on crazy train, the rhythm is doubled, and the solo is tripled. on mr crowley, the rhythm is doubled, but the solos are single tracked as i am pretty terrible at them. most of the doubled rhythm isnt that tight/lazily done...
