Re: Perspective

Thank you. Very sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, Paul. Just horrible. I dread the day when I am going to lose family. Thanks Alex. This was a shock but not a surprise. We all knew the day would come, but when it does it's still hard. The fact that he died so accidentally by simply forgettin...

Re: Perspective

So, back in September you all helped me deal with the death of my nephew. Today we got the news that my wife's older brother, Ricky's dad, was found dead this morning by his dad. Apparently he had just enough to drink to fall into a deep sleep. He was living in a 5th-wheel trailer on his parents pro...

Yeah, we'll beat the Niners at their home as well as in Seattle and then crush the Patriots next February. :D

Re: Steven Rosen and Andrew Klein Book Excerpt

I suppose that you say because the Rhoads canned it, it must somehow entitle the authors to write 2 different biographies? I don't agree with you, nor do I believe that the authors intentions were that pure. Not the way that many people complained of their behavior in the course of working with the...

Re: Clips from the Randy Rhoads Remembered concert.

I thought it was funny some of the comments on Youtube. Some people were all pissed that some guitar players took some liberties and made up a solo. I didn't care after all it was remembrance of Randy. And one thing Randy stressed was coming up with your own style. I found that funny as well. Randy...

Re: Heard you missed me...

Is there a reason you hate me so much now, Nick? We have a difference of opinion on one topic and you make it your goal to talk smack about me. Why is that? Has no one ever disagreed with your opinion before?

Re: Steven Rosen and Andrew Klein Book Excerpt

I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist but this whole situation is pretty fishy to me... And why did the documentary get canned? That is an important piece of the puzzle. Why is it so hard for so many to understand that permission, in writing, had to be given for both the book AND the film and that any...

Re: Clips from the Randy Rhoads Remembered concert.

Maybe everything should be in off topic. No one posts anywhere but "general" so all the conversations tend to drift off of Randy after a while. OR maybe someone should try nudging things back on topic ? I thought all of the performances were good, although I thought Tracii Guns doing the S...

Re: The Contracts - It Is Complicated

Considering that Sharon Osbourne has been cast as the person who fucked it all up, it is interesting to find out who was really 'pulling the strings' on the business side. Much debate about this very topic.... here, a couple seasons ago. Back then, I suggested that Don Arden had a larger role in al...

Re: Steven Rosen and Andrew Klein Book Excerpt

What truly sucks is that this project screwed the family over... I want to know HOW these people feel this book 'screwed' them. They chose to not be involved and didn't do anything until it was published from what I understand. Maybe, just maybe, there is more to Randy's family keeping things from ...

Re: The Contracts - It Is Complicated

I THOUGHT it would be an interesting topic.... Never mind. It is interesting and there were some comments made to that effect. When was the last time a thread here didn't go off topic? Now, back on topic, how did you come across this video? Specifically searching or did you just happen across it? P...

It's funny, when I saw: European guitarists outshine those from the states, imho... ~T. Somehow I immediately thought "British"... weird how the mind works. Ultimately though, I prefer American players. I do like a lot of the guys mentioned here, but if I had to choose, I'd choose American.
