Re: RR solo tabs
Anyone have any practice tips/tricks/regiments? You could start by removing that planet sized chip from your shoulder! Other than that, 'slowly, slowly, catchy monkey'. Hope that doesn't sound patronising but whatever you're struggling to nail, slow it right down and gradually build speed. It ...

Re: THIRTY YEARS AFTER THE BLIZZARD on UK tv - 9.40pm 22nd J
That just about sums up British tv, that's why I like BBC4 as it's the only channel that doesn't churn out that crap. On my programme guide it's showing the Lemmy movie, then a Hawkwind doc followed by Heavy Metal Britannia starting at 21.40 this Friday. It makes sense that the Blizzard doc will be ...

Re: THIRTY YEARS AFTER THE BLIZZARD on UK tv - 9.40pm 22nd J
Are you sure, it's showing Lemmy and then Hawkwind after the Proms on my tv guide? Not really arsed myself as I've seen it many times but it would be nice for the uninitiated to see it. As for you Jazz, BBC4 is the most watchable channel on telly. Count yourself lucky you didn't suggest BBC3 as I wo...

Re: On Bob and Lee's input
The reason I love those first two albums so much is because of Randy's genius and Ozzy's voice and incredible melodies, those are the crucial elements.

Re: On Bob and Lee's input
Bob's a great bass player and a decent lyricist but it's a stretch to suggest his contribution to those first 2 Ozzy albums is anything more than that. As I've mentioned elsewhere on here, it's all about Ozzy and Randy. If he was such an accomplished songwriter then surely he would have gone on to b...

You're a genius, thank you. I don't suppose you could upload the backing tracks with the bass added could you?

Re: Crazy Train: The high life and tragic death of Randy Rho
Finished reading it tonight. I really don't feel as though I could do it justice by writing a review but I have no hesitation in saying that I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. I found reading about Randy's early years particularly interesting and I really didn't think I would. There...

Re: Ozzy Facebook post RE: Rock Band 3 tracks for Blizzard/D
Haven't found these yet, so despite being a complete novice I thought I'd have a go at them myself, as I'd love the original backing track for Diary. Anyway, after a tiny bit of research thanks to Google I learnt that the files needed are .mogg files. I then bizarrely and excitedly found a site wher...

Re: Suicide Solution Demo
If that is anything like the recording's Bob has in his possession then he was clearly insane to turn down Sharon's lucrative (see, I too can state my opinion as fact) offer. I dread to think what the response would be if the Osbourne's released something like that officially.

Thanks for that, but it doesn't prove that it wasn't Ozzy's band.

Re: Bob Daisley's grail stuff.
That is by far and away the most concise post I have ever read. I'm aware that there are members that have far more knowledge than me but 'Blizzard of Ozz' being a band and not an album title is something I have only ever read in Bob's quotes. Interviews with Randy's family and friends that I have r...

I'm sure it will mate, it's already been very insightful and I've only just started! By the way, how cute is that first photo?

Got mine this morning. This will take over my life for the next few days. Thank you very much.
Re: The Divid
Couldn't agree more axe, only Bob knows how much he was offered. Anyone who claims otherwise is doing so to suit their anti Osbourne agenda. I could just as easily claim that Bob is as obsessed with making money from Randy's legacy as anyone. As for the box, £120 including shipping and taxes was an ...
