Re: Progress on the Concorde!!!
I just got my hands on a brass NOS bridge for my Chinese Concorde. I feel like I remember Dino had a similar issue with his. But the block doesn't fit correctly, and I don't think the screw holes are going to match up too well either. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this, and if you had any...

Re: Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies
GMW makes amaing quality guitars for the price I wish at the time I could have gone that route but I couldn't afford much at the time, I will in the future get one from them, maybe a red with white dots or white with black dots. From what I have seen the case is custome and superb quality which is ...

Re: Alpine White Les Paul Custom
Not that I really have the money, but I've always wanted to get a white Gibson Les Paul Custom. Unfortunately, I'm rather picky on what I want it to have. Ebony fretboard, non-weight relieved (This is the hard thing to find, sadly), and in mint condition. I get why they do the weight relieving in ge...

Couldn't tell you why. I don't think many people are active on there at all. Haven't seen much from the moderators or the administrators over there for some time. Sad, I actually liked that website. (Though, many here dislike the people that run it.) Have you tried the other domain? www.nobitching.com

Not to be a negative Nancy, but I doubt it. There hasn't been much buzz about it that I've seen.

Re: Randy and Dean Guitars
I guess it is good that this happened, otherwise we might be seeing Randy's name pimped as they've been doing with Dime's since his passing. Doesn't Jackson do that? lol Not to the same degree, of course, but there are plenty of RR Jackson guitars out there. Even some weird stuff (Roswell Jackson, ...

Re: Why did Randy never use the neck pickup?
Are you sure his black Jackson was a Vol/Tone/Tone setup? I always thought it was Vol/Vol/Tone. Regardless, I think he wanted the neck pickup there for recording. The neck pickups have a warmer tone that, at least in my opinion, sound better for cleans than the bridge pickup. I know when I record cl...

Re: Randy and Dean Guitars
As with most guitar companies, their high-end stuff is pretty good. Randy tried to get an endorsement from them, but because he was a "nobody" at the time, they wouldn't do it. Guess it pissed him off so he refused to play Dean guitars after that? I don't know for sure. All I know is the s...

Re: If you come here just as a browser i have a message!!
It doesn't have to be something new that needs to be discussed. In my experience, when people ask something that has been brought up before, they get told to search the forums before posting. (I am guilty of doing this, as are others) That, and you can only talk so much about Randy's "Chip pan...

Re: Randy and Dean Guitars
Yes, he went to a NAAM show, if I'm not mistaken. He tried to get an endorsement, but the guy turned him down. After that, Randy called Dean guitars "firewood".

Re: If you come here just as a browser i have a message!!
I rarely post these days because I just have nothing to say for the most part. I think I still check these forums (Even RR.TK too, though that's even deader) more out of habit than anything.
It's kind of a case of "everything's been said and done" these days.

Re: Anyone have Mr. Crowley live ep flac.
Anyone have Mr. Crowley live ep flac. All I can find are tinny sounding mp3 rips. Just download the YouTube converter and download the eps from YouTube, it convertes them into an MP3 file for your pleasure and it's completely free, butttt before you do that look in the music section on this form yo...

Re: Marshall JCM 800 sound
I don't know. It looks stock to me, and I haven't had a chance to really check the tubes. Don't even have the equipment/knowledge to do that. I'll see if I can post up some tracks or something of how it sounds. Maybe I just expect it to have more distortion than it has? All I know is that even on th...

Re: Marshall JCM 800 sound
I've tried with my Agile LP 3000 (Les Paul knockoff), my "Chackson" Jackson Concorde, and my Schecter Hellraiser guitar. Only the Schecter has Active pickups (18 volt mod, if that means anything). I have managed to get a heavier tone out of it, but it requires that I use my MXR Fullbore Me...
