Re: Don Airey responded to my inquiry!

Not knowing what people who pmed you asked, I'll ask the obvious: Was there any video, to your knowledge, that was recorded whether it was video from a gig or otherwise? Why did you add keyboard parts during the shows that weren't played on the albums? To fill out the sound of the band, or so you co...

Re: What's the cleanest version of Chicago 82?

Oh shit, completely misread that. Thought you meant a bootleg. haha

At any rate, I doubt you'll find a cleaner version of that footage. Supposedly the person who filmed it has a better version, but we don't know who that is or if that's even true.

Re: What's the cleanest version of Chicago 82?

I don't think you'll find a cleaner version anywhere online right now. Tommy Aldridge might have a cleaner copy of it in his pile of tapes he has, but we haven't heard any of those.

Mr. Crowley cover

It's missing the vocals, which will hopefully be done in January sometime, but here is the track so far.

Re: What do you Non-US members think???

It looks like this whole recount thing has caused utter chaos as well. Nothing but chaos... California wants to secede from the nation which would only lead to others wanting to do the same... Before long we'll be Europe! Here's a great quote from before Trump actually won: America and Britain are ...

Re: The songs Joe Holmes played live from 1995-2000 with Ozz

I know there was talk about him doing this for BOO and DOAM, but that was false, if I remember right. And really, as big of a fan as I am, Oz just doesn't (didn't then, either) have the chops or range to do some of the songs off those two albums. I don't think that was proven false. I'm pretty sure...

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

There simply is no "randyrhoadsofficial" . That, much like all of the others is a fictional piece of someone's strong imagination. People have spent years trying to self-elect their site as 'official' Randy Rhoads website/facebook/myspace etc etc, all while the family didn't want to get i...

Re: What do you Non-US members think???

It's a head shaker the way both parties went on leading up to the election. The slagging matches and bitch fests that hit the media was a pure joke...then someone has to make the decission to actually vote for one of these clowns. I know the UK is a joke as far as having a country which was once ca...

Re: What do you Non-US members think???

I truly believe there are some legitimate cases of police being prejudiced, however I think the media has sensationalized those cases to an extreme. I completely agree, personally. The media blows most of these stories WAY out of proportion to make things seem like a bigger epidemic than they actua...

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

Margolis' docu-drama (as I call it) was also a huge bullet to the Rhoads community. People left and never came back. All the red tape and unpleasantness sent a lot of people packing. Stories of grotesque photos. The whole lot was a fucking shambles, quite frankly and I would be glad to see Margolis...

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

I think forums in general are starting to die. That, and as much as I like the look of this forum, it has an aged look to it. RR.tk is even worse in those regards. Don't think they've changed their style at all in the 6+ years I've been going there. Personally, I don't think there's much reason to f...

Re: Progress on the Concorde!!!

Oops, sorry haven't been keeping up with this. It's great. Easily one of my favorite guitars. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play it for a few months (I moved away from home for a bit and couldn't fit it in my car), but when I did play it, it was great. I can't A/B the tuning stability, but s...
