Right,especialy at the time (Early 1980) Soundbites wernt used too very often,aside from the beatles & some bands adding crowd noise or little scenes to carry the story like Prog rock bands "Concept" records. The album version sounds like Genuine Fun,like a party you know your missing...

I have a friend on another forum that Knew Randy,,Played guitar in a band with Kelle (Doug) Rhoads..(Band Name: Jenele Mcalister) Kelle sang.. And we have talked for an extended amount of time about his memories of Randy, and Being at the Rhoads' home, and Musonia as well... He stated the same thing...

I liked the Alt better.. More meat in the slide ..(no pun intended )
But it sounded more organic to me....And never heard the ending with the **AH-Hum** "SAMPLE" in it before....Thanx ,, really cool....
