Re: Frankie Banali interview, Over the Mountain intro
Thought I posted/asked this a couple weeks ago but it looks like it never went through. Wasn’t the intro to OTM first used on crazy train after the solo/intro riff? That leads back into three main riff. It’s way back in the mix and faster though? I think what sounds most similar to it is Bill Ward ...

Frankie says in that interview that he played with Ozzy, Randy and Dana Strum and that it was recorded on tape which included an intro he came up with that they ended up using for the intro to Over the Mountain. That would be a cool tape to hear if it still exists.

Did Mrs Rhoads ever sue the O's and others who have?
I remember reading that Mrs. Rhoads had to sue the Osbournes for unpaid royalties. Can anyone confirm if that's true? I have seen some people lately siding with Ozzy and slagging and accusing Bob of being the guilty party. I find this hard to believe because it seems like the Osbournes have done eve...

Longer version of Ozzy & Jack in tape vault
https://youtu.be/R_JI30N_Ows Very cool. "There's something in here that when I told mom about, she had no idea". I wonder what on earth he was referring to. Certainly not the unmixed Crazy Train they listened to because that would have been used for the 2002 disasters. And not the Southamp...

Re: New Pic?
Randy's white Jackson actually shipped from Charvel Manufacturing in Glendora, California (the actual location of the famous San Dimas factory, which had a PO Box in San Dimas) to London on February 9, 1981 (wow, notice the same date as above, pretty cool) via air freight. The cost was $350. There i...
Re: New Pic?
Aye thats one out of Bob Daisley's book, funnily i asked myself the same question when i noticed the snake skin strap. Cool pic.. I'll have to take my book out. It's been a while and I didn't remember it. Has anyone compared the two printings? I have the first. The second was supposed to have more ...

Re: The Grail is Dead...
Just emailed Bob with a few ideas on how he could still do this. One of those is just start a kickstarter or go fund me type campaign and set a number for what he feels it's worth. If it's worth $100,000 for example then let that run for 90 days or what not. If it's met then release it in some form...

Re: RANDYRHOADS.COM
Nice idea, genuine shame about the price though. It's way too high. If it was less, it could be worth crowd funding (back in 2008, we would have raised that in no time), but $50,000, in a time when interest in RR is probably at an all time low? We would never get close. Randy-rhoads.com was let go ...
