Re: The RR 'bonus' track guitar solo
yes, that was another thing that irritated me, not a single acknowledgement, considering Tribute was dedicated to Delores.

Re: The RR 'bonus' track guitar solo
Thanks for NOT flaming me. Someone else mentioned on a thread that he has a gut feeling and feels its a Zakk homeage to his idol with the full backing of the Osbourne estate.
Hope I haven't started a conspiracy now!

The RR 'bonus' track guitar solo
Not sure about this at all, and PLEEEASE don't flame me, but I have a few doubts. OK, when I played it, thought it wasn't as fluent and smooth as other Rhoads solos, but as it was an exclusive, I let that go. However, I put it on my iPod through iTunes and my doubts resurfaced. The Blizzard of Ozz w...

Re: My thoughts on the Remasters
I thought after 25 years, they become public domain.
I know the Gillan CDs were released after much legal wrangling AFTER a designated 25 year period, so the 'owner', in this case, Ian Gillan wouldn't get the majority of royalties.

UK Release of the hallowed box set?
I've seen this on Amazon in the US at $199..............and yet Amazon (UK) has it for less than £50, BUT is 'out of Stock' as I write. Play.com hasn't got it either which leads me to ask, is this available in the UK..........or do I just need to know where to look? Im happy to pre-order through Ama...

Re: March 19,1982~Where Were U?
I recall my mum telling me on a saturday morning she'd heard Ozzy Osbournes plane had crashed on the radio and 3 had died. She didn't know any names, but added that the radio DJ mentioned that 'one of the nicest people in rock' had died. My best friend who was with me said, 'That'll be Don Airey' Wa...

Re: Genuine 1959 Les Paul..Got To Play it!!
Good for you that you got to play it, let alone touch it! With all the fakes out there that even fool the experts at times, I'm suprised no-one has tried to copy the '59 Les Paul. My boss at work has a fake Rolex from Hong Kong and it cost him about 1/100th of the actual official price but it looks ...

Re: The Day I met Randy Rhoads - UK 1981
Nice story, makes it worthwhile when the *stars* have time for their fans......and I've met a few that were total b*stards to their fans! Americans were usually spot-on, but the British ones I found to be mainly real w*nkers when waiting to meet them.........of course, there are some notable excepti...

Re: Bob Daisley's History in the Blizzard of Ozz Bob's bass
Bob comes across as a very honest and believable person. Whilst Ozzy has always been too far gone to know whats happening around him, the more I read interviews like Bobs, the more I dislike Sharon. Sorry if that ruffles a few feathers, but like Gene Simmons, Sharon is obsessed about making more and...

Re: Mojo Magazine
I did recall reading that almost immediatley after the crash, prior to the Police turning up, Tommy Aldridge was in a panic trying to dispose of a bag of cocaine. I think I read that in Sharons book, but do remember reading that. Not mentioned in Ozzys lame autobiography.
