Re: The Third Album Discussion for All.......
i thought i read somewhere a long time ago that he was forced out of dlr or that the situation got shitty....no musical flexibility, annoying ego and shit pay distribution with dlr and whitesnake. He said he made tons more money off selling just 50k solo albums than multi million mega-group albums.

Re: The Third Album Discussion for All.......
i think rr had enough drama with ozzy...dlr is probably, like the biggest diva besides ingwe malmsteen or madonna...getting beyond that, any perception of a manipulative ploy to irk evh would be just another cold shower...lets face it,both dlr and evh went to shit after the split. Both ar e remembered...

Re: Clips from the Randy Rhoads Remembered concert.
It's funny, when I saw: European guitarists outshine those from the states, imho... ~T. Somehow I immediately thought "British"... weird how the mind works. Ultimately though, I prefer American players. I do like a lot of the guys mentioned here, but if I had to choose, I'd choose America...

Re: Singers Randy Would Have Been Cool With
yeah gb is hella good...but i think rr would ve liked the commercial edge of steve perry. He dug phil collins and foreigner so...fuck,foreigner was mega huge.remember when jukebox hero hit the radio...oh lord i loved that -not enough to buy it cuz i was too cheap but still.

Re: Clips from the Randy Rhoads Remembered concert.
I hate sweep arpeggios!! What has sweep-picking done to you to deserve such hate? :P  Simply not a fan of the way it sounds. Especially those guys who sweep entire six string arpeggios one after another as if speed were somehow musical. To me it'd similar to Zakk overdoing the pinch harmonics ...

the reason you see a pro film crew for 415 and not ozzy might be legal issues such as getting permission from ozzy to film his set.I dont think 415 was a big band or anything so i doubt they would not want to be filmed. The promoters of this show should have the answers to who what why this crew is. ...

Re: George Lynch Created The Tapping Part Of Flying High Aga
randy would have done just like all the other legendary guitarists have done-he would have sucked and created crappy music....page,clapton,townsend,evh...blablah...you are in peak form for about 5-7years and then all that genius, creative flow shuts off i.e.stones,zep,who,aerosmith,van halen...who wa...

Re: George Lynch Created The Tapping Part Of Flying High Aga
if you listen to the lead in Tooth and Nail,i think you can hear the similarity in some of the hammer on run as the one in FYA. GL is my third fave player after you know who.He has great tone, feel.Gl has spoken very little about rr though he probably has a ton of stories.Maybe doesnt want to ride th...

the endless coverage on cnn is showcasing the most idiotic conjecture and speculation ever witnessed in the history of news media.
there is nothing there,there...there has been no info, data to track or follow so cnn has filled this void with kindergarten-like banter. Its appaling.

Re: Signatures on eBay + Full Blizzard Signed
the first 2 are real....the last one has the same 'oad' as the first one so i would say its real-this version with the funny oad is one i havent seen or noticed much but its yet another variation RR did....whats nuts about it is that the first and last one are completely differnt aside from the oad....

Re: yngwe malmsteen is larrge and sloppy -on that metal show
what drech!those songs make for painful listening...i ll take waterboarding over that....yngwe was better then and vai is as boring then as ever. What seperates masters like rr and evh from these guys is tasty fills from randy;funky rythme and phrasing from ed.And most importantly a good canvas aka ...
