The one thing that keeps me going was Zakk talking about how everyone is gonna freak out when we see this footage. That makes me happy to know it's out there. Whether or not we see it, well, that's another story.

This is a great song. Nice and short, really catchy. I'm glad that Randy did his thing with Ozzy, but it would have been interesting to hear what he would have done if he stuck with QR. I haven't really listened to too much of his work with QR, but I think I'll dive deeper into the catalog.

Well, I think of what he said when someone asked him who his favorite guitar player was. He simply said, "I like anyone who plays the guitar." So, with that in mind, I'd say he liked pretty much anything and everything. Very open-minded.

I have that issue you posted and nearly screamed when I saw they put his last gig as "May 18, 1982." I know Randy was good, but he must have been real good to have played a gig after being dead for two months.

I think he ended up in real estate and lives in Hawaii. Could be wrong, but I seem to recall something to that effect.

I'd say the case in the LA pictures is definitely for the Les Paul because it doesn't seem like it is wide enough to accommodate a V shaped guitar. V guitars usually have pretty large cases, kinda like the PDV one above.

The quality of the footage in the Thunderbird video is outstanding! I can only imagine that the audio is just as good. While I appreciate the Super 8 footage, the quality of both sound and visuals leave much to be desired. It's nice to know that there are some really clean copies out there.
