I think he used a script--theres one in a photo of him in the studio and its on the console-RR is playing a strat I believe in that pic..That 79 block logo is a cool pedal and some of the older script model circuits where in fact put in the block logo boxes around that time..

Yea Ive heard what the crush is hearing--it does sound like 2 guitars--I know Don was playing some parts during all the songs but it does sound like another guitar in that particular part-stange nonetheless

Yea guys hold out for it later--All Ive seen that I have not seen before is a few songs from the Diary tour shot from Rudys side of stage--not a whole lot of RR to see--I bought it and kinda wish I had not--its not worth the dough--I should have spent that dough on a foot pedal like an old MXR Phase...

I agree--After watching it last nite it seems odd that there is no family members-no Rudy-Tommy-crew members and no Bob or Lee..It really could have been something so much better with some of these people--let bygones be bygones life is to short for grudges...I will say it is way overpriced for what...

I would say the other 2 amps where spares and so where the cabs-Marshalls are finicky and can/will go down on you in the worst cases-RR may have used the white one some nights and a black one for others to give the tubes a little break-RR really needed spares as his sound was his biggest concern whi...

I agree it was some rehashed info we all pretty muck knew but the pictures where cool -also Im sure RR never lacked for female company and would not have banged Sharon no matter how drunk he might have got--shes just wishing out loud

Not for sure but They might not have had noise reductions units back then--also Marshalls are going to hiss and hum when there turned up especially with several pedals plugged into the front of them--also several amps plugged into extension cords does not help

Not sure how Randy was paid but most band members where probally only getting 3-400 a week-so the check he had may have been from 3 or 4 shows..I believe Jake E Lee stated when he joind Ozzy he was only making 400 a week..I really do not for sure but from what Rudy said in the book they where losing...

Im sure he used the Les Paul all over the place on both albums since it was his fave--The V was used on a few leads according to Max Norman--where ever you hear some whammy bar is the V. Clean sounding parts where probally played on that strat ..

I will say I think RR was one of a handfull of guitarist that where innovators--Robert Johnson-Albert King-Les Paul-Hendrix-Blackmore-VH-RR ..Every rock guitarist is just a copy of one or all of these players to me
