Re: The Law @ Blackpool 1980
I found this link that lists a second secret Law gig at the West Runton Pavilion on 9/5/80 http://www.digplanet.com/wiki/Blizzard_of_Ozz_Tour http://www.digplanet.com/wiki/West_Runton#West_Runton_Pavilion The date of the Law gig at West Runton is probably the only thing that's accurate in that arti...

Entrance to a small cottage next to the many house where ozzy stayed when recording his first 3 solo albums. This cottage is where Bob wrote the lyrics to flying high again according to his book. Looks like Queen also stayed in there too. For some reason the photo of them is reversed, but definatly...

Re: Commentary on the RR QR Years DVD
I watched the documentary, which was really good, and then skimmed some of the commentary. I got to the section of Randy doing the Laughing Gas solo to hear what was said. Ron Sobol is doing the commentary and he starts listing some of the QR stuff Randy used in Ozzy. "You Drive Me Crazy"...

Re: After Hours and Randy's thumbnail.
Kelly had mentioned it was just for show.i think it was noticing jimmy page with a long thumbnail and they thought it was cool. Don't quote me but i think i read it years ago. I was thinking that Kelly had said at some point that it started has a joke -he thought it was funny to grow it long and fr...

Re: Awful Bernie Torme MR crowley rendition 2009
Well for the record Sky how many people dont like the Living Loud album with the redone Ozzy tracks. I get them and i like them but a majority don't like them for what ever reason ..It's the same thing...it's Bernie probably pulling that track out of the bag and making a hash of it ...unrehearsed a...

BUDGIE Mainman Reminisces About Randy Rhoads
BUDGIE frontman Burke Shelley spoke to BW&BK's Martin Popoff recently about a number of topics including the band's old guitarist, John Thomas, who was felled by a stroke back in the mid-'80s and was eventually forced to leave the band. "He was a great guitarist with great style and techni...

Re: What is Randy's "Historical Significance"??
I thought his legato was his strength. The reason that he is remembered is because those albums produced something that no one had heard before, especially Diary of a Madman. To me Rhoads's musical knowledge and playing were already above Blackmore's when he died. RItchie Blackmore had elements of c...

Re: The Religion, Atheism and Science Discussion
The only Science that comes close to scratching the surface is Quantum Mechanics. And that basically disproves Einsteins theory of relativity.
