Re: ZAKK WYLDE: The Best Thing For RANDY RHOADS Was Hookin'
Oh man, SATO is one of my favorite RR songs! I love that solo. It seems to me that he switches keys 3 times! Outstanding stuff from Randy for sure. I feel that both albums had a bit of filler and that if you diced 2-3 songs from each album, you could put the remaining songs together and create a sup...

Re: ZAKK WYLDE: The Best Thing For RANDY RHOADS Was Hookin'
I don't know if I agree 100% with that... Say the original BOO line-up was Rudy (or someone like Rudy - an average bassist) instead of Bob. I think you would have been dealing with an album that sounded pretty much like a Quiet Riot album with Ozzy on vocals. Bob was the main reason that BOO and DO...

Re: ZAKK WYLDE: The Best Thing For RANDY RHOADS Was Hookin'
Rather silly lyrics though, aren't they? I mean, No Bone Movies? Flying High Again? Crazy Train? He's definitely no Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond or Roger Waters. Ozzy could have sang the phone book over Randy's music and the albums still would have sold. No one bought those albums because of the &...

Re: Bob Daisley's grail stuff.
As bad as it is that Bob and Lee got fucked big time in their contracts, they SIGNED them. And as it's been pointed out, every court, including the Supreme Court, has ruled against them. Now I imagine the Supreme Court justices of the United States are privy to all the required documents, testimonie...

Re: Ozzy Newcastle Mayfair 22 july 1988 pics
Just found these pics. Very nice. Geezer has been my favorite Ozzy bassist. Geezer brings the heavy to the sound that the other Ozzy bassists lack. Bob, Rudy, Phil were all very pop to me...Geezer brought it back to the real low down sounds, which Mike Inez and Rob Trujillo continued with.

Re: Hate To Ask This
Just watched Over the Mountain video. Like others, I'm happy I didn't spend 150 on this boxset. If they put the DVD out by itself for maybe 30 bucks, I'll grab it. But at this point, for that price, I'm going to wait.

Re: The highlight of every Ozzy/Randy show
Children of the Grave has always been the best Randy played Sab tune. I never liked his version of Paranoid. I think you could really tell that he HATED Sabbath and didn't give a shit about the song when you listened to Paranoid.

Re: BOB & LEE, BOB & LEE!!!!!!!
I definitely agree with the whole 2 sides to every story. I find it mystifying that if Ozzy fucked Bob over so many times, why the hell was he still gonna play on the Ozzmosis album??? Sure, he says that it was (or at least he thought it was) Don Arden being the prick, but SERIOUSLY. How many times ...

Re: AHHHHHHH ...I'm Going Bananas!!!!! Heres Revelation exc
Wow, that was beautiful! They should just release the guitar only part for Revelation...If I didn't know better, Ozzy's eyes look rather emotion behind his glasses.

Re: New Guitar World Randy Cover
Well, literally, the term wife swap would mean that Jodi was involved too. I think Sharon was either misquoted or displaying her rather poor vocabulary. I've actually seen and heard Sharon use words that are totally just...not correct for what she's trying to say. I'll never forget when she was aske...

I wasn't all that impressed with them, but I have to be honest, I wasn't paying close attention to them. I found it interesting though that there was no bassist but two drummers.

Re: RAMMSTEIN 2011 US Tour
I literally liked every song they played! Of course, they omitted some of my all time favorites, but you can't have Rammstein play a 5 hour set...or can you!? Anyway, my favorites of the night were probably Weiner Blut, Feuer Frei, Weisses Fleisch and Du Riechst So Gut. Ich Will sounded especially e...
