Re: Randys polka dot v headstock
cool :) where did you find this info? :) In countless interviews Karl stated that he used a danelectro neck he also said he added wood to the neck and cut the design he and Randy worked on Since most of the danelectro necks don't have a truss rod I made a conclusion that the dolphin neck/headstock ...

Randys polka dot v headstock
After careful research i have come to a conclusion that Karl Sandoval used a dolphin danelectro neck.
the dolphin headstock has the right shape and it has no truss rod
here is ALL of the Danelectro headstocks

Re: Question about NO BONE MOVIES
Just listened to a few live boots and early boots And I have come go a conclusion that Randy was experimenting with a slide during that part of recording Because the way he plays the solo on the cd and the way he plays it live is almost completely different Makes you wonder what type of things randy...

Re: Grail Tapes Q&A
I think I would NEVER ask for footage ever again or anything That's a PRETY bold statement I know but 7 hours of unedited Audio that contains unheard songs demos rough cuts and the making of 2 amazing records would last a long time for me I would sit and listen to ever second a billion times over we...

Re: Grail Tapes Q&A
Given that all songs were recorded at various stages, what would you most like to hear if you could hear snippets of the Grail? Also, do you have any questions about the contents of the tapes that haven't been answered? Just wondering... All the songs Bob, Lee, and Randy worked on ended up perfectl...

Re: The thread of guitar related acquisitions.
I'd say the only neck pickup that would go with an Invader would be another Invader...maybe the neck version? 8) NICE TRY But the neck was still too hot for my taste I like my neck pickups to sound really light and my bridges to sound really hot I currently have a gibson 57 classic in the neck of m...

Re: The thread of guitar related acquisitions.
a little update. I'm going with Duncans APH-set in the V instead :) I put the Slash set in my RR1 and they sound so good. I really like the slash set over just the regular set though, those are good too. That neck pick up in the slash set is butter. Just has that right sound. [/color] Would the sla...

Re: The thread of guitar related acquisitions.
Just scored a blue 1982 fender with gold parts for $1200
EXTREMELY hard to find 1 in good condition and does not have all the parts ripped out
The wiring in the inside is insane the toggle switch is like a octopus
Looking for a fender prinction chorus
And Maybe a bad horse wha wha
