Has anyone seen this? Apparently Bernie's first gig with Ozzy. Some very cool footage here.

Wow! Thanks for sharing. You really get a feel of what it was like back in the day. Randy wearing his red outfit, similar (or the same as) to the Portvale gig,

Re: Randy Rhoads: Reflections Of A Guitar Icon (New documentary on May 6th)
Thanks for the review. I will watch it, but not in a rush to do so. The only extra stuff (outside of any new footage) would be hearing Delores talk about her son, as they had an amazing relationship. It's always a bittersweet moment when anything new is announced about RR, and hat's off to anyone th...

40th Anniversary of Brad's first gig!
From Wikipedia "On March 28, the band flew to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for three days of rehearsals to restart the tour. On April 1, the band restarted the tour at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem. UFO was back as an opening act in Bethlehem, and Magnum was added during the following five-show stint a...

Got mine yesterday. Stunning book and has some amazing pictures of Randy -- really shows his personality. Love it! If only we got a quality production from the Osbournes like this book.

Live Tracks from Diary 40th
The live tracks are up. Sound different from Tribute and the box set. Flying High Again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNdEf-mIXO8 Believer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEmcAzAVsLc Believer sounds slower, solo is amazing and lots more improv and there's an effect 4:09 which is new to me. Have ...

Re: OZZY OSBOURNE's 'Diary Of A Madman' 40th-Anniversary Expanded Digital Edition Due In November
Totally agree with Shockwave... a really shit 40th Anniversary package and not one that any Randy fan would be proud of. As for the extra "live" tracks, I bet these are from Southampton 1980 as they were never released prior (or have I missed something?). If these were from the Diary Tour ...

Re: New Randy Recording - early run through of Flying High Lee Kerslake on vocals
That recording is just epic. Lee... not only a great drummer... but had great harmony in his head too. Ozzy shaped the song, but these guys laid down such a massive foundation for Ozzy's solo career. Without them, who knows where OZ would be?

Re: Randy Rhoads by Ross Halfin - Preorders start today.
Ordered mine, and went for the signed by Ozzy and Ross. Haven't bought a lot for myself lately and this is a real treat to have something that's so close to owning an original photo. I would love to see a few other shots of the tribute album cover as you can see the flash go off a few times in the v...

Re: A post card from Randy - 1981 So it was filmed...
This is interesting... as a professional photographer was there backstage taking pictures. Was the plan to release the video later? Maybe the quality - like most of the Capitol videos - wasn't up to standard for Shaz and Oz. https://flashbak.com/ozzy-osbourne-and-me-shooting-a-rock-god-in-the-1980s-...

Re: EVH ~vs~ RR
The way I look at it is that Randy could probably play all of Eddie's stuff with ease - but I would love to see Eddie play, say, the solo in Over The Mountain. I think he would struggle at the first few attempts. Having the ability to read music, gives Randy an amazing advantage. Two giants of the g...
