Re: Master Volume
I'll mod the hell out of standard run of the mill guitars. Even 'high end' if that's what you call Gibsons and the like... But you'd never catch me modding a genuine artist series guitar or amp. Sorry, it's just not wise I guess that's where we differ, I'd never buy a 'genuine artist series' guitar...

Re: Please Sign My Petition On Whitehouse.gov
Petition for Free Apples and Steamed Rye Bread THERE COMES A TIME in every great nation's journey when it must decided whether or not free apples and steamed rye bread ought to be handed out to their people. It is the opinion of this petition's author that such a time has arrived for The United Sta...

Re: Books On Randy
I manage a shipping department for a small printing company and regularly send packages throughout the US and elsewhere, I cannot fathom where it costs $60 outside of the US. /end rant I couldn't agree more! I've shipped guitars across the States (coast to coast) and it was under $20. So when I see...

Re: Master Volume
Never consider resale? I beg to differ, unfortunately. I do have some guitars that I hope like Hell I'll never have to sell. But, I'm not in a financial situation to ever say that my gear is staying, no matter what. I have a handful of things that are on my "that's never getting sold" lis...

Re: RANDY RHOADS LES PAUL REPLICAS
so what i am a little obsessed with randy his guitars and his tone so what No offense intended, but it does seem like you ask a lot of things easily[/i[ learned via Google. I get it, you're 16 and not all of the search ideas occur to you. It's easy for me to find stuff, but it might not be for othe...

Re: Master Volume
Why not on the RR? Modding the RR will greatly decrease it's value. Picture somebody buying the RR Les Paul and drilling and mounting a third pickup on it. If you don't care about resale value later on then don't worry about it. Just my two cents Exactly what I was going to say. Personally, in my o...

Re: George Lynch plays...
The fact that Randy asked George to replace him and teach his sudents should say what type of player George is. Thanks for sharing that, it's good to know he's a good person. As for your comment on George and Randy, I've heard that for years. Did you know he got fired from that job for trying to ma...

Just wanted to say I paid $3 for a book by someone who knew Van Halen prior to their fame... may have been the worst book ever written about a band. It's titled Could This be Magic? Van Halen Before 1978 in case you want to avoid it

I don't know about you but I consider lazzies faire (sp) capitalism and greed one in the same and I don't want to argue symantecs cos I don't know the intentions of each particular author however I'm glad that the books are finally coming out for those that choose to buy them. But that's just me. A...

Re: Books On Randy
Gotta remember it is a capitalist economy, and with the new books available on Randy, his legacy must be growing if there turns out to be decent demand for those books. If you feel this strongly about possible motives behind the books, how do you feel about the latest KISS book in comparison? My pa...
