Re: Why do you stay loyal to randy?

Picture a twelve year old kid in 1980, growing up in South Florida and absolutely rebelling against the disco movement that is EVERYWHERE coming out of the late 70's.. He hears a song on the radio, and it makes him grab a tennis racket and literally "play" the shit out of that thing while ...

Re: Is this Randy's tour bus? (says its willie nelson's from

Randy died in 82... The ad says this bus is an 83, so unless there is some weird time warpin' going on here... I'm guessing not the same. Want to own a piece of country music history? Well you can if you have at least $65,000 to get in on the bidding of a 1983 Eagle Greyhound -sized tour bus origina...

Re: 20 elementary school children & 6 adults murdered in Con

I don't know that many criminals, but I would assume that they have no interest in a school zone. Again, I'm assuming here- that your average non-law abiding citizen wouldn't dare shoot up a school. The lowest of the low are the ones that mess with kids, don't believe me- you can watch any reality ...

Re: 20 elementary school children & 6 adults murdered in Con

is that "guns-free school zones" are now "killing zones". I didn't think the gun lobby would go there, but they did. Somehow, according to their il/logic- we need guns in gun free school zones because the criminals are now capitalizing upon students made vulnerable by laws that ...

Re: Aurora Batman Shooting staged?

the liberal mainstream media would rather you not hear about the good guys with guns stopping bad guys with guns. while this might have some truth to it, the numbers are too vast the other way around. the solution, according to NRA and 2nd amendment supporters like yourself, is more weapons ...

Re: Aurora Batman Shooting staged?

"assault weapons" haven't been sold to civilian since 1986... Assault weapons are select fire (aka full auto) the media has given these terms to semi automatic rifles. Evil black rifles they are. ^^^^^^^ One of the VERY few things said in this thread with any merit... And if I recall corr...

Re: Building Your Own Guitar

nice stuff man.......I reckon you need to swap the necks with the flamed maple and the walnut. And put zebra P/ups in the maple IMO..YMMV etc Thanks. The fretboard on the flame maple guitar is Pau Ferro, which is dense/hard like ebony or maple but not quite as bright. Thought that might add a littl...

Re: Building Your Own Guitar

Just saw this thread... and since I'm here I might as well show some of my home builds. I didn't build from scratch, the guitar bodies are from a small builder out of Alabama. I bought the woods and sent them to him in raw form, he did the rest. The necks are all Warmoth. I did the finish work (all ...

So.... Is this you're website? Because if not, this person built one EXACTLY like yours! Except they knew how to post pics and stuff. Funny, their description of the build matched your description word for word. Odd, wouldn't you say? Good detective work... Nah, I just saw correct spelling/grammar ...

Re: A Les Paul w/o routed holes nor chambered zones nor "pan

I you're wanting a Gibby without any chambering or weight relief today, you have to go with one of the reissue type guitars. Those guitars are built pretty much to original specs, including non weight relieved bodies. Pretty much everything from the mid 80's to present day have some type wood missin...

Can't forget the VERY limited run of "short wing" V's that Mike Shannon made too.
