Randy = MOZART / Perfect composition and melody. A prodigy.
Yngwie = BACH / A myriad of structured notes in a dizzying array.
Eddie = BEETHOVEN / The pop artist. Pure songwriting and a dash of what's popular for the ages.

Re: Just heard delores has passed away. R.I.P
Very sad... but strangely with a sense of Joy that she is finally with the son she lost so tragically.
If you believe that type of thing... I am sure Randy greeted her with a new composition, a big smile and a hug... then the two went off to practice together.

Re: Randy's return?
Ruday Sarzo did state in his book that Randy agreed to do the "Sabbath Live Album" that became Speak Of The Devil. He also agreed to one more studio album and one more tour. But he did want out, and he did want to return to school for a degree in classical. I believe he would have done all...

Re: Randy thought Jimmy Page had sloppy playing? Listen.....
I agree with Randy if he said anything along those lines. Page had a phenomenal ability to write wonderful music, Randy had a phenomenal ability create extraordinary compositions. I do consider composition different than songwriting. Randy was a very precise and technical guitarist... Page is loose ...

Re: Moore on Aurora.
Listening to Americans in this debate is a lesson in futility. It's mindboggling. Alas if I lived in the U.S I would have to buy a gun, logic dictates that in a country with enough non military firearms in circulation to arm the entire country (including every child) I would be an idiot to not arm m...

Extremely under-rated and often overlooked guitarist.
His playing is technically brilliant but lacks alot of the innovation and imagination that some of the greats are known for.

Re: The Movie/Favorite Movies Thread
PROMETHEUS. I liked the story... I hated the actors and even more so - hated the absolute lack of any character development. What were these people doing...and why should we give a shit? There was gaping holes in their motivation. One character believes in God and wears a cross while looking for the...

Re: Van Halen at the Super Bowl
I believe MAIDEN are the highest selling Heavy Metal act of all time in record sales... surpassing even Metallica and Black Sabbath. I was speaking for my personal preferance of whom I would like to see. I know Maiden would never get a Superbowl... not because of popularity, but because it's not the...

Re: Ozzy showin Daisley some love on his Boneyard channel..
Unfortunate that Ozzy is really just a showpiece for his own name... with others pulling the strings. I strongly doubt there is any real issues with Ozzy and Daisley, its the people who sell his name. Just plotical business nonsense.

Re: Van Halen at the Super Bowl
Personally, I'd rather see Chickenfoot. I understand the Superbowl from the perspective of Van Halens name, but this is just going to be another sad display of "old" rock stars at half thier ability. The performance will be embarassing... to the point that I will be uncomfortable. The Ston...

Re: Rachel Youngblood burial location
Rachel worked for Sharon's family for years , Sharon has said she was like part of the family. Whether or not they send flowers should be a personal thing for them. It's not something we should even discuss, in my opinion. Absolutely. Agreed. Who Sharon, Ozzy or anyone else sends flowers too is rea...

Firstly... that solo by Jack White was absolutely awful. ... and am I the only one who expected to hear Robert Plant suddenly start singing "baby, since I've been loving you.... I'm about... to lose... my mind". Really. SO what about great solos of the last 12 yrs. Hmmmmmm. Do yourself a f...

Re: Jake E. Lee was the one
I personally consider Bark At The Moon the 2nd best and quintessential Ozzy track after Crazy Train. However I think the album was horrible. The lyrics and songwriting are cheesy beyond description... B-Grade metal at best. The Ultimate Sin has 7 out of 9 solid tracks on it. Shot In The Dark, Thank ...
