Re: Uhggg...Then YAY!

I had an explorer that fell and made a "BOING" sound. The neck broke in 2 places. Luckily, I lived near Nashville and they put 2 Rods in the neck... You would have never known anything happened to it. I do not like those little Tripod stands because of that

Re: Multi Effects Pedal

I have a Digitech GNX 1. It has 2 amp channels that I can control with a switch. I set one to clean for clean parts, and one to distorted for rythm parts. When I wanna play lead, I kick on an OD pedal and it gives me some serious midrange for solos. I have 48 presets that I can program, I usually se...

Re: New to the forums, but not to the legend

I started playing guitar shortly before I got into Ozzy's stuff, and very quickly my favorite guitarist went from EVH to Rhoads. After all these years of trying, I just can't play Randy's stuff, but I do some things like he did, like using chorus on my solos, and double tracking solos. I snaked his ...

Re: Interesting history trivia

Back further in the day, they wanted Adrian Smith in the band before they Hired Dennis Stratton. Stratton went on to play in Paul Dianno's Post-Maiden band, also Clive Burr... there's some incestuous behavior going on with the NWOBHM bands

Re: Ozzy's voice

My favorite Sabbath record is "Sabotage" I think Ozzy's vocals just sound great on that album. He definately got up into a new register on that album. The first solo album I heard was "Diary" and it's still my favorite. I love "Blizzard" to death, but I think there's a ...

Re: Crowds Reaction

Brad didn't really get too good a chance to learn Randy's solos. He just kinda got thrown out there. Jake was a little more trained also, knowing scales and modes and whatnot. I really like the Speak Of The Devil album, it's a different take on some of the Sabbath stuff.... I have to admit that Brad...

New to the forums, but not to the legend

I'd like to start by saying Hi... Been a fan after I heard "Diary" when I was 10, so about 20 years now. And I must throw a big "THank You" to Trigger, I snaked quite a few "Diary" tour bootlegs that he uploaded. I just got my box set in Monday, and just now got to the ...
