Re: 2 yellow les Pauls?

been awhile since i've been on here. Kelli Garni cleared me up on the same question about the 2nd white L.P. Randy owned only the one we're so used to seeing. He emailed me stating that #2 most likely belonged to a student. I now work for Gibson Guitars, and plan on getting every bit of info on Rand...

Re: My last post about the crash.

Of course you don't know how to respond. My post was intended to provide food for thought. Not fodder for a theologically uneducated fool. Apparently you have preconceived notions about darker things. As for your last statement, it's been almost 30 years since Randy's passing, longer than you've been...

Re: My last post about the crash.

"When are christians like going to stop providing fodder to atheist? You expound the virtues of a god that lives in palace in the sky". "So Randy CHOSE to be murdered?" says crumblycake. C'mon crumbly, you can do better than that. a god that lives in a palace in the sky? That's y...

Re: My last post about the crash.

Ignorance? There's a difference between Faith and idolistic worship(i.e. sky god). I would have to say an individuals CHOICE has nothing to do with murder or human sacrifice to ones god. Sorry if i struck a nerve Crumbly.

Re: My last post about the crash.

I'll make this as painless as possible. For those of you who are Christians, you'll get it. For those who aren't, I don't want to offend, but think about it. We are all put on this planet to serve God's purpose, each with our different talents, whatever that may be. The fact that Randy Rhoads had an ...

Re: a third album with randy

i've downloaded 13 tracks of "unreleased" Quiet Riot w/ Randy. If i didn't know better, i'd bet they were 1st or 2nd gen from Kevin's masters. Most of you have likely heard these, but i do see a lack of Quiet Riot audio on the site. If someone can coach me on uploading, I'd be happy to inc...

Possible different take on the "Concorde"

I'm sure this may be a redundant question, but does anyone know if Randy was a Trekkie? After watching some 80's Star Trek movies, it dawned on me that Randy's Original Jackson bares an uncanny resemblance to a Star Fleet insignia. Compare the ones from the TV show and the movies to his guitar and t...

Re: The highlight of every Ozzy/Randy show

Have to say, if i had a dollar for every time i performed Paranoid(drums or vocals) i would be a very wealthy man. The version from Montreal(kbfh) is the version that made me want to play guitar in the first place. KISS made me want to be a rockstar, Randy Rhoads made me want to be a musician. I end...

Re: Help me get this straight once and for all, please...

Always hated metal picks, although i own 2 of Warren Dimartini's and the "infamous" Joe Holmes metal pick he was using when he broke a string during the 2nd solo of Mr. Crowley on the radio broadcast. He gave me that pick along with a few of his "throw out" picks, as well as the ...

Re: Help me get this straight once and for all, please...

Thanx for clearing me up on Chris' guitar. When i spoke to him, W.A.S.P. was on the KFD tour(whatever year that was) and the story he gave me was that "he was relieved" of several Jackson guitars and Marshall's by a guy who was storing his gear while he was in rehab. I named of a few, he s...

Re: Help me get this straight once and for all, please...

Chris Holmes actually has(or had) 2, a zebra striped and a black one with white bevelling. Last I talked to him(it's been some years back), i think the striped one was stolen, and he still has the black one, although it's been painted(not professionaly). If you ever see pics of his, the upper wing a...

Thanx for that pic whoopiecat. I forgot, the guitar was gold not wood grain. and notice the gold logo/signature! I've been so caught up in 30th anniversay fever that the details of Vinnie's guitars have escaped me. I still have loads of old Circus magazines with pics of the pink one. To my knowledge...

Re: Help me get this straight once and for all, please...

The White prototype was the original design and one of the early guitars Grover built for Charvel. It had the distinction of being one of, if not the first neck through guitars to come from Charvel, which is why they went with the Jackson name. To distinguish the bolt-ons from the neck through. Supo...
