Re: favorite songs from boots
I think the later Blizzard (band) shows were really good, like the band had formed a good chemistry, some of my favorites being "You lookin at Me" and "Children of the Grave". I really like the '82 shows for gems like"Over the Mountain", but some shows seemed to start g...

favorite songs from boots
im still a bootleg novice, but I've noticed subtle differences from show to show and have some favorites and wanted the hardcore fans insight. The blizzard versions of Crazy Train with the long intro is killer and I favor Kerslake's drumming over Aldridge's and personally think Sarzo's bass intro on...

Re: The 2002 rereleased ad.
Didn't Blizzard and DOAM get the drums and bass re-recorded and would the bonus tracks also have been re-recorded?

Anybody have any suggestions on the best set up for listening to old albums? Considered getting a vintage record player or going different route and buying a new turntable to hook up to surround sound receiver someone gave me. Any thoughts

Warp Monger help
Is anyone familiar with the Warp Monger/Mayhem bootleg? I thought about purchasing this from someone with a slightly damaged version, but didn't know if this was a Randy show (I haven't seen or heard it). Have read it may be from Memphis '82?
Any info is appreciated!

Re: Blizzard-What if???
One of the points I wanted to make was that even if most of those old songs just built off of Randy's riffs and went from there, a "party band" (not an insult) like Quiet Riot would have no use for riffs like The Diary of a Madman intro, or Believer, Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, songs that sh...

Blizzard-What if???
This crossed my mind recently while looking into the Daisley/Osbourne feud. What happens if The Blizzard of Ozz was missing any of the three- Randy's Guitar playing Ozzy as frontman Daisley's songwriting Randy's complex guitar playing was perfectly suited for creating the dark atmosphere, Ozzy had a...
