Diary of a Madman Stage Setup

Does anyone have any pics or anything about the stage setup on Diary of a Madman? In one of the old videos with footage of Randy and Ozzy, there is a model of the stage with working trap doors, but there wasn't much info on it.I've seen many pics and even the video with Brad Gillis on the tour but I...

I dunno, I love the older Les Pauls better than the Grecos but I've never played a Greco so I don't know if I'd like it better than the newer Les Pauls. I've played a vintage Les Paul and I can't imagine anyone else making a better Les Paul than that one. I own a new Les Paul Custom and there are a ...

Personally, I would much rather go with a real Les Paul.

Lexicon 240

In Guitar World there was an interview with Max Norman and he said Randy used a Lexicon 240 with new chips in it for the Diary album. I have been looking into Lexicon units and I may get the MX200 but when I saw that article, I looked for a 240. I can't find one anywhere and I was just wondering if ...

It is a really good book that has alot of info that covers Randy's whole life. If any of you get the chanc...

How do you clean boost the Superleads? Do you just set the output high and the distortion low?

I do but even on the clean channel there is a little fuzz. It is the celestion speakers. I really wish I could replace them with altecs like Randy did but they are hard to find.

I bought one a few months ago, a Les Paul Custom white, and I replaced the black knobs with gold ones and got a straplock kit and a case for it. It is an awesome guitar.

If your getting a Marshall the only way to go is a real vintage amp. The new Marshalls suck. They are nothing like they used to be.

I own a Jackson RR3 and a Les Paul custom and run them through a digitech RP300A, an MXR Stereo Chorus, MXR Ten Band EQ, and an MXR Phase 100 leading into a Marshall JCM900. I hate using the RP300A because each individual effect sounds way better than having them all come from one effects board. I o...
