Re: 33 years!!!! RIP Randy
Listening to some podcasts and youtube clips of and about Randy now. I plan to have a few drinks and crank some DOM and BOO this evening in honor of the man. He's gone but continues to inspire me and so many others whether we are listening to his music or trying to play his licks. In ways, he is sti...

Newer interview:Randy Prototype mentioned, RR tapes, etc
Not saying this is true, but there are certainly some reason to see a Randy and Vinnie Vincent connection to Grover Jackson? Also mentions Dana Strum having large amounts of Randy Rhoads live recordings, Dana got a gold record for BOO for "ghostly inspiration" there's some other tidbits. ...

Listened to some of BOO this morning and several of Randy's isolated guitar tracks now. Never gets old to me. I remember the day I heard the news, I was in 5th grade. Now I have a daughter who is in 5th grade. Time has certainly flown. RIP Randy.

Re: Frank Hannon from Tesla at Musonia Video
Even with this misspelling, I appreciate Frank doing that. Im a fan of his, but now a bigger fan. I love it when she comments on his guitar and the intro to Love Song. I always thought Love Song was inspired by Dee. In fact it has some of the same notes and chords. He was very respectful and Delores...

Re: Happy Birthday Randy!!!!
Im wishing him a happy bday and celebrating best I can. Listening to the vinyl, looking at this amazing book, picking up my Les Paul and going through the tribute tab book. Playing some licks here and there. Wish I could be at the bday event. Wish he was here to celebrate with us.

Re: Trivial, But...
That is a very cool looking Custom. Hate that you had to sell it. Ive had to sell 2 guitars before and I have missed them ever since. Ive played a 68 Custom before and I loved it. It felt quite different than my Standard. Ome of my LPs has 57 classics and ive thougjt sbout getting a hotter pu but I ...

Re: Trivial, But...
Paul, You were spot on about the photo...yellow shirt, bad hair day (lol). Sarzo is in the picture not Bob as I said before. From what I could see and I checked this prior to reading your message, it looks like the ectangle inlays that would normally indicate a Custom as you know. The pickups are th...

Re: Trivial, But...
The other night I was reading the new book and I saw him playing what looked like a different LP that I had never seen before. It was in the early BOO days. Looks like a natural wood tone LP, with black knobs and the sides look like a darker wood. Its not exact as this picture, but looks close to me...
