Re: Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies

Thanks for the info!!! I am sorely tempted too, and if I hadn't completely drained my savings on woodworking tools and materials, I would've hit the 'Buy now' button! That price is awesome! It's not some factory in Asia pumping these out, just a luthier by the sound of it. Hell, I paid this much jus...

Sandoval Polka Dot V Copies

Anyone know anything about these, who they're made by, if they're half decent? http://cgi.ebay.ca/RANDY-RHOADS-POLKADOT-FLYING-V-GUITAR-EBONY-FRETBOARD-/180578386813?pt=Guitar&hash=item2a0b4f837d I just can't get over the price considering they actually have an ebony fingerboard and mother-of-pe...

Re: Genuine 1959 Les Paul..Got To Play it!!

Wow!! I feel privileged just knowing someone who got to play a '59 sunburst, let alone actually getting the chance to do so! The vintage Hofners are espeically not so valuable coming from my old boss... 20 years ago, I moved here for a job where I was supposed to be building guitars, but as it...

Re: Add Gus G. To The List

I bought the Scream album a couple months ago, and have been loving it a lot! It's quite melodic with lots of really cool riffs. I certainly think it's Ozzy's best in a very long time. And yes, Gus G does deserves a spot here soon enough. He actually had formal training in a conservatory back in his...

Perhaps this explains the harsh pricing -- gotta cover that hike in insurance premiums somehow! :

Re: MY NEW RANDY RHOADS JACKSON

Absolutely! I'm totally hooked on Vs now. the upper fret access is insane, and I actually find it more comfortable than my LP sitting down. I can't seem to decide whether to set the LP on my right leg or left, either way feels a little off. But resting the inner part of the V on my right leg (with a...

Re: $haron O manages the Randy Rhoads estate ??

According to Kelle, the reason for the night and day difference between Randy's playing with Quiet Riot and Ozzy is he believes that QR was very restrictive of his playing, whereas Ozzy allowed him to play whatever he pleased, so he was free to explore the whole neo-classical thing.

Man, this article isn't even from my country, and yet reading it practically had me foaming at the mouth with rage! But you just know the same thing is going on here too. Seems a lot of us have close relations to someone similar. I have a brother who's hardly worked all his life, only he didn't milk...

Re: Chilean Miners Underground 68 days!

I live in a small city driven by nickel mines - it's one of the largest deposits in the world here. My brother and father-in-law were miners, so this hits a little close to home. What an amazing mission and testament of courage, hope and perseverance! I'm normally not really claustrophobic, but I'd ...
