What about Criss Oliva from Savatage? He died tragically at a young age and he hasn't become a huge legend. I always liked his playing. I don't see Criss getting mentioned much or becoming better. well randy was in a slightly bigger "name" band than criss....to a degree outside of the met...

I read a interview with Bob Daisley over at Charvel forums that he will not be part of the RR documentary. He has tapes of song writing sessions with RR,photos and song mixes which he called "The Grail" of RR lost items and several hours of them interviewing him on camera that will not be...

randy's was maple with poplar wings....the RR5 has alder wings randy's had an ebony fretboard....RR5 are rosewood the hardware/plates on randy's were brass....RR5 are gold plated all these differences change the tone a bit........... the sharkfin inlays on randy's are smaller than the RR5 and off co...
