Re: Quiet Riot Original Album Classics including QR I?

Well, it seems QR is being released by Sony/Epic outside Japan after 38 years. Why not QR II too while they're at it? And separately in a proper way too.

Re: Quiet Riot Original Album Classics including QR I?

Even if it was included I'd prefer QR II.

Kevin DuBrow managed to breath some life into his QR RR Years album but the original albums are pretty bad especially the first one.

Re: What is Randy's "Historical Significance"??

personally I hate the fact that every magazine article of the last 30 years about Randy Rhoads has to mention that he "died tragically"... True but the fact he died young is a major part of the myth. Dying young makes musicians legends. This board wouldn't exist if he hadn't got into that...

Paul Wolfe wrote:In 2048, whe a kid is looking back on music, why would Randy's name be in the conversation?
Because he co-wrote and played guitar on the first two classic Ozzy albums and died tragically in a plane crash at 25. The same reason why we are here at UR today.

Gillan - Mr. Universe (promo 1979).

No wonder Sauron thought of hiring Bernie when Randy was gone. They had very similar licks.

Get your facts straight. It was Rudy Sarzo at Le Belage on the 26th of February 1985.
My mistake, sorry.

But you guys are way too serious about the video. Maybe Bob should sue Rudy for not giving him the credit he deserves on it?

Re: Rudy Sarzo talking about ozzy randy

Why are people so butthurt about Rudy not mentioning Bob's name? He says many times he learned the bass parts from the records and his session with Randy after he landed the job. And he also says he had to change the parts to fit in with Tommy's playing meaning his playing wasn't exactly the same a...
