Re: Bobs book??

I'm reading this right now, and what strikes me is really how sympathetic in many parts Ozzy comes off. Really reinforces the idea that Sharon is the mind behind the operation, and the holder of the purse strings. Oz seems content to just be Oz, and you get the feeling that Bob genuinely liked/like...

Re: Bobs book??

they were sent separately. I got the first one about a week ago - a 2nd one showed up yesterday. Both of my copies are in perfect condition. BTW - i've started through the Ozzy stuff and i've got through the Blizzard time period and just came onto the start of the Diary period before i stopped and g...

Re: Bobs book??

got my copy a couple days ago - having no problem with the binding - it's in perfect condition. And what a beautiful book!! Larger than a regular book and is quite vast. It will take long while to read the whole thing. Bob really outdid himself. I've scanned a few pages and i've never seen a rock bo...

Re: Bobs book??

i can't wait to get my book. It should be arriving hopefully in days now. I see someone on Bob's Facebook page already received there's in the U.K. It will probably be a little delay getting it here in the U.S. because of shipping/dispatching - but i am totally psyched to be getting it any day now. ...

Re: This site is almost dead

i'll be honest - i'm a huge Randy fan and have been for a long time - but the reason i don't visit very often anymore? The level of "in denial" demonstrated by a few on this forum is an 11 on a 10 scale. Personally, i find it VERY sad. I remember a month or two ago, there was someone who p...

Re: Bobs book??

He's still fine-tuning and editing. You all want a great, detailed book from his diaries rather than a generic, by-the-numbers bore like Ozzy put out, i would think. As of a couple of days ago, Bob said he doesn't have a date, but said it will be out this year, hopefully "mid-year" instead...

Re: Possible good news

of course everyone has "their own side" of any story to tell. However, in this case, i'm much more looking forward to Bob's telling of the events and inaccuracies. For one, he kept a diary of everything that has happened to him daily, kinda like Rudy Sarzo did (instead of just making stuff...

Re: Phoenix Bros Footage

I wonder if somebody tried at a meet&greet with Ozzy to quickly discuss this. We know Ozzy is not the brain behind all the legal stuff, but if we can get him excited he might be able to get something rolling. Or maybe ask Zakk. I wonder if he knows about this stuff, he must have checked the RR ...

Re: RANDY RHOADS' Family Sues Margolis and Klein

EVERY-body's dropped the ball on attempting to preserve the legacy of Randy. I've followed this years for now - and i'm at the point of just moving on and giving up hope of anything. Randy's family : haven't done jacks**t to preserve his legacy, no matter what they say. Its almost as if they've trie...

Re: Bobs book??

of course Delores would say that...she's Randy's mother. I do believe he wrote all of the 'musical' parts without a doubt. However - considering the work Bob did with 3 later follow-up albums with Ozzy, i think there's no question Bob wrote most if not all of the lyrics and arranged the majority of ...

Re: Bobs book??

Awesome! Was that on his web site? It was just a comment he made from a question on his Facebook page a few days ago. He usually answers all his fans questions. And since he can post and respond right away, usually the Facebook page is a better and more updated place to go.......the official Daisle...

Re: Randy Rhoads vs Mark Tremonti on Guitar world Poll Go vo

of course we all like Randy 'round these parts.

But Mark Tremonti is a phenomenal guitar player....not to mention a great ambassador of the instrument and a real, down-to-earth nice guy - one of the few.
His new album in excellent.

Re: Bobs book??

this has been answered many times before. Bob is in the process of putting the final touches into the book. He doesn't want to release a "half-assed" book such as Ozzy did. This will be complete and detailed, with facts (not just memories) taken from diaries and journals. He's hoping to ge...

Re: new update on peter margolis documentary

Everyone since then has been a hired gun as well, Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo didn't last long... in fact, no one but Zakk really lasted long in Ozzy's "band". ... and Randy Castillo. R.I.P. actually, Mike Bordin drummed for Ozzy (and at quite a few Sabbath gigs) for quite a long time. ...
