Re: Why do you stay loyal to randy?

of all the guitarists I've listened to, he's moved me emotionally a tremendous amount further than anyone else. When I listened to Tonight and then the fade started, it was like the universe was tantalizing me with Randy, I wanted more, he was giving more, but the volume kept going down, it just cre...

Re: RANDY RHOADS' Family Sues Margolis and Klein

this is what gets me - why does everybody (especially the family) HOARD everything? I'm glad Peter and Andrew and Ron put out what they did. They knew Randy, they hung out with him, they have photos to prove it. IF they want to share it with us, that is their right. I just don't get how everyone tal...

Re: The Real Randy Audition???

I think it's more like the soundcheck, the first 2 runs that he does, I would've been sold after hearing that. I've never heard anyone else do that.

Re: New Randy Rhoads audio

These audio are not new oh it isn't? sorry they're just new to me and i thought i should bring it up here. I love that, "they're just new to me", I remember the first time I heard Randy jamming in the bass lesson, he just takes over, it's awesome. Congrats on the discovery of those lessons!

Re: Which peice of Randy's music makes you emotional?

there are a bunch, but I would say, top 3: 1. Tonight - especially the fade solo, it just leaves you wanting more, but there is no more (except for the extended part they haven't released), it's like Randy is playing to eternity to let him stay, but to no avail. 2. Little Dolls, here it's the lyrics...

Re: The 'perfect' single album

I used to really like that song, but them some one posted why they didn't like it: the "oh no, oh no, here we go now...." and then it started to unsettle me listening to it live. I do like the live montreal version and I would include that on my perfect live album. I just think that Randy'...

Re: The 'perfect' single album

I would go: 1. I Don't Know 2. Crazy Train 3. Mr. Crowley (full fade) 4. Revelation (Mother Earth) (alt. version) 5. You Can't Kill Rock And Roll (extended version) 6. You Said It All 7. Tonight (extended version) 8. S.A.T.O. 9. Over The Mountain 10. Diary Of A Madman 11. Dee (studio outtake version...

Re: 2 and a half unreleassed songs (Randy)

Tommy and Rudy were good, solid live performers Bob and Lee were good, solid studio performers (I don't think there was a big difference live (maybe with Bob) BUT... Bob and Lee were great composers and I think the drums intros from Lee were/are legendary, and with Bob - Crazy Train, Believer those ...

Re: What's randys best song on guitar?

I have to agree with everyone. (no shocker there) Crazy Train is probably the best, fully complete song, with "never before heard" stuff on it well composed I think that the outro solo on Tonight is his best work, it's really unrivaled in guitar solos for me I agree that Mr. Crowley was ep...

Re: 2 and a half unreleassed songs (Randy)

maybe the songs will never be released, because they were re-written for Bark at the Moon or Ultimate Sin. I always felt that Bark at the Moon had some "Randy Moments" on it.

Re: Rock Band 3 DLC Rip's - Randy's Guitar Tracks Download!

just got done listening to everything on a real stereo and it's weired to not hear the bass. Is there another track for that too? I will note the dive bomb on I Don't Know, so he used the PDV on that too. the bridge on I Don't Know is very special to listen to, like you just arrived somewhere off th...

Re: The RR 'bonus' track guitar solo

On the documentary with Ozzy, he's sitting in that studio and that guy keeps playing tracks from BOO and DOAM and then he solo's Randy's track. At the end of Revelation, Mother Earth, Randy keeps playing after the song has finished and that RR solo is what he plays. It's 100% Randy, no doubt about i...
