Re: Photos from 1980-1981

These are a nice collection of candid pics, for sure. Love the shot of the band on stage. Looks like the Day on the Green gig. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Diary Ridge Farm track timings for Randy's mix.

Very cool to see! Interesting how the artist is listed as Blizzard of Ozz and not Ozzy Osbourne

Re: Downtime

I just thought the site was dead and no one was posting as there isn't much to say anymore. $haron, O$$y and the Rhoads family are disgraceful. The 40th anniversary for Blizzard and Diary have pretty much come and gone. The fans got shafted again, sadly. Thank you for keeping the site alive none the...

My thoughts exactly. Just not enough interest in Randy. I'm glad I got them when I did.

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

Ha, nice bedroom dude. Where did you order the posters from? I got in contact with Jay through here in 2010/11 when he had the photos he took at the January 23, 1982 concert in Madison, WI printed on high quality poster paper. There were 8 in total and I bought all 8 at the time. He did have a site...

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

That's awesome that you don't mind keeping this place running. I can't ever see UR ever being what it once was but I'm sure if anything new was released in regards to material, a lot of the members that lurk would come out to chat about it. I know it's off topic but you guys are the only ones I can ...

Re: Quite the dead stretch here lately...

Finally, someone asked the question. I only check in here once every few weeks now just because of how dead it's become. It's sad that Randy's Legacy has pretty much gone this way, but in a sense, there's only so many ways you can screw with people and keep letting them down. All this talk of what's...

Re: Finally got the 1982 Guitar World with Randy!

That's a great pickup! It's such a shame that this section of the board is so dead. I would love to see some articles.

I never saw the guitar pic.. is there a link? Did Randy ever have custom guitar pics? Why do I seem to think he played Fender Mediums?

Re: If you come here just as a browser i have a message!!

I browse here or at least try to daily and have been ever since I joined. When I joined over 7 years ago, this place was very vibrant and I'm pretty sure the reason I did sign up was because I even wanted to add my 2 cents on the whole Documentary Saga. I was lurking here long before that anyway. Yo...

Re: Anyone have Mr. Crowley live ep flac.

I have a perfect Lossless rip of 'The Other Side of Ozzy Osbourne' Ep, released only in Japan. It's basically the Mr. Crowley EP with some additional tracks, notably 'I Don't Know (Live)'. If you'd like a copy I'd be more than happy to upload it for you! Tracklist: 01 Mr. Crowley (Live) 02 I Don't K...

Re: Immortal Randy Rhoads out March 2015

Yikes, was this album bad. This felt really uninspired and while I get that their heart was probably in the right place, this was a cheap record. Kelle Rhoads' vocals on 'Back to the Coast' was just purely laughable. I'm seriously struggling to find anything positive about these tracks. Straight up ...

Re: Immortal Randy Rhoads out March 2015

Thanks for sharing Shaun, no idea how this flew so far under the radar. I'm not a fan of cover albums or many cover songs in general but man, that lineup playing SATO sounds awesome and really cool to see them throw in a few Quiet Riot tracks in there including one with Frankie. I'll be picking this...

Re: Randy Rhoads 2014 Masterclass (Teaser)

Thanks mate, that's awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing that video now, I've already subscribed. It's amazing to hear the kind of tone you've been able to get from really not that much hardware. Those solidstates have really come along way. The only amp I have atm is the 1959RR and I've never got...

Re: Randy Rhoads 2014 Masterclass (Teaser)

Now this is a nice breath of fresh air! I would have loved to been able to do something like this. I think you've nailed the tone in that Believer video. I think I'll be learning a thing or two from these lessons. Thanks for making them available for free! I know you've said that you use the Axe Fx ...
